Thomas is a purebred orange exotic shorthair male. He was surrendered by a breeder who no longer wanted to breed him. Thomas is an incredibly sweet and loving cat. He tends to be shy around strangers but he warms up quickly. He now follows me around the house wanting to be loved on. He trills when he is spoken to, it is absolutely adorable! Thomas has been tested for FeLV/FIV, neutered, microchipped, vaccinated for distemper and rabies and is up-to-date on wormings. Thomas is considered a special needs cats due to his skin problems. He currently requires weekly Malaseb baths to keep his skin in good condition. If he is not bathed regularly, he skin becomes flaky and he looses his fur. Testing has shown no signs of ringworm or other infectious agent. There is a possibility that his skin condition could be related to the testosterone in his system and now that he is neutered his skin will clear up without regular bathing. Only time will tell. Thomas is a sweetheart of a cat. He is worth the extra effort that bathing will require. In addition, he actually loves to be bathed! He stands in the sink and purrs during his bath!
